There’s something about the echo and volume of the mic that takes me out of my flow every time. It’s a big studio and the classes can be pretty full so I totally understand the reasoning , but it makes it seem more commercial than I’d prefer.

The instructors did a great job giving everyone at all levels attention. The sets were explained well which made getting started easy. visa alla recensionerI absolutely love this gym, this class, and these instructors! It’s my second time taking the class and it’s a GREAT workout. also, I love the instructor! It’s a small gym so they only ever have 6 or 7 people taking a class at a time (the two times I’ve been). All women. Everyone’s really nice and the instructors push you a healthy amount and are really good at paying attention to your form, correcting it if needed, and pushing you to the finish line. They are awesome with suggesting modifications, too, and encourage you to do what you’re comfortable doing. Will definitely keep going back!

There are more challenging classes, of course, but not having done Step Aerobics since the 90s, I thought I'd ease in. Everyone was super inviting, it's not the kind of place you slink into the back of the class without people getting to know your name....I like that! I'll be back, definitely!

It takes time to take off your coat/winter clothes, set up music if you wanna use the speaker, set up and sanitize (let’s say 3 minutes) plus a super minimal 5 minute warm up and maybe 2 minutes to stretch- that leaves you with 20 minutes left to actually workout (but you have to get rebundled to outside and clean up after yourself so really more like 17 minutes)
