visa alla recensionerI wasn’t sure what to expect from Mental Shreds since the class description was vague, but I ended up loving it! The experience combines contrast therapy (sauna and cold plunge), breathwork, and low-impact toning. We started with 20 minutes in the sauna for breathwork and self-massage, followed by a 90-second cold plunge. We repeated this, adding some Pilates-style toning in the sauna, then ended with a final 10-minute sauna rest. The instructor, Shreds, was supportive and explained each stage well. It’s a mental challenge—especially enduring 20 minutes in the heat and 90 seconds in the cold—but I’d definitely go again. Just remember to bring a large water bottle! Worth trying if you enjoy hot-cold therapy and want to push your mental limits.

No knocks against the class just letting people know it’s not too much of a cardio workout. probably good if you are looking for more of a regular Pilates class with some a little bit of cardio. I wore my chest strap heart rate monitor and I was only out of zone 1 for 1 minute and 34 seconds. Average heart rate was 81 bpm.

I’m not sure if it was effective just because I’m not sure if they have experience dealing with darker skin. But it was a nice experience as an intro to laser. I’d appreciate more information about aftercare and things like that without having to ask but it was helpful.

This time it was with Erika with the plastic one. She spent more time massaging my back and nect with the cups which was a nice compliment from the first session! 2 totally different styles and both really good! Definitely will come back for more! I tried acupuncture a few years ago and it was painful and unpleasant. I have been flaring up with eczema lately and decided to give acupuncture another chance. Amanda was my practitioner and she was so gentle and warned me in advance if some areas would be more tender. I will be back for acupuncture and to try some other treatments!

She welcomed me and made me feel right at home. She walked me through the treatment and after it was done she came in quietly as to not disturb me. It’s not a tanning bed clearly, but I was wondering. You get to choose which wavelength you want, and I went with the “pain” one which goes the deepest to heal your muscles while also doubling up for your skin. I did a workout before going in and I actually did feel like my muscles were less sore. Not sure if it’s placebo but it was pretty relaxing!
