While introducing us to the different stations and exercises, she gave us warm up exercises to do as she talked us through the movements. This was my first Lift class (and first ever introduction to using weights). She modified exercises for me to ensure I didn’t injure myself. She also made sure people in the class had support if needed. The end of the class finished with stretching to cool down.

The coach and instructors are knowledgeable, welcoming, and make the experience enjoyable. We had Phil as our instructor, and he was fantastic! He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable throughout the class. You can tell he genuinely knows his stuff and is passionate about what he does. But from the studio tour and introduction to the equipments ahead of the class, I felt ready and confident. The coach took into account the state of each student throughout the process. From the correction of movements, to the strength control during core training, and then to the final stretching and relaxation, the details of every link were handled very well. The atmosphere in the classroom was particularly harmonious. The students around me were encouraging each other and moving steadily along with the rhythm throughout the course. I have made an appointment for the next week's class. Highly recommendded!
