see all reviewsThe studio was small and personal. Great, fun music and lights without the strobes and black lights found in some other fancy studios. If you like the awkward coordination and crazy RPM targets at Rush Cycle then this isn’t for you. Just riding, up and down, sprint and hills, no weights, but a good calorie burn. At times it was hard to understand the instructions so if you’re new to cycling arrive early for a tutorial as none was given to me on my first class. Showers are nice and towels and soap/shampoo are provided.

see all reviewsThe class itself was very challenging, which I really did love and appreciate it. The teacher was a sub and if I see her on the roster again, I probably wouldn’t take her class. She seemed annoyed to be there and she singled me out saying a should look to get approval for taking a level 2 class even though I’ve already taken a level 2 class. Other people in the class were dropping equipment and practically failing down and I was calm, followed instructions carefully, and moved at my own pace to ensure I was doing things correctly. I felt singled out and she said she didn’t have time to make personal adjustments or check on individuals because it’s level 2 and she didn’t have time. The truth is she stood at the front of the class and gave orders. I didn’t need additional help, other people looked like they did but she said nothing to them about being inexperienced. I do love this studio, and the other permanent instructors, have been great so far.

This was one of the sweatiest classes I’ve attended at NXPT (and that’s saying a lot considering their circuit classes and cycling are hard core!). We did not do much yoga. If you’re looking for a slower paced stretch, this isn’t the right class. But if you’re looking for a great heated workout with weights, this is it!

Whenever I drop into Stretch U, I always come out feeling more balanced and symmetrical. I normally think of stretching as a cooldown, but this was great as as a warmup before heading to play in my weekly rec league. I felt so much less stiff than usual. Injury prevention for the win! Highly recommend.

I have tight calves, hamstrings and IT band issues and this was not only better than the massage I had over the weekend but additionally well worth the money (I bought a package I can share with my bf for five sessions)! Must try if you onto great at stretching post workout! (And ask for Natalie— she’s super sweet :))

This was mainly due to the sub instructor (Camille), who led a much more ashtanga-oriented practice.
