She works some functional movement into the flow as well as strengthening, core and stabilizing moves. Castlehill Fitness is great. I used the infrared sauna afterwards and felt totally at ease.

I mentioned when I arrived that I had an old injury I needed to be mindful of, and she was very attentive and made sure that I felt comfortable and did not hurt myself further. The instructor was clearly very knowledgeable but did go through things very quickly. so just be aware of this beforehand! That being said, I will likely be back since I feel like it will push me, but it is fast-paced and assumes some dance knowledge beforehand like positions etc.

I had the teacher Roxy and I went up to her to checkin and we started class about 5 mins after. There is a water dispenser in the dance studio. Only thing is that I had to wait outside until the classes before were done so come about 10 mins before you have to be there to not wait so long.

I was surprisingly able to learn the choreography to a tango with no previous professional dance experience. Additionally, the studio was judgement-free and welcoming. Due to limited shoe options, I wore sneakers with smooth soles. It went well, so I would not let that be a reason not to book.

visa alla recensionerSigned up for West Coast swing, but the schedule hadn’t been updated for this month and it was actually Salsa night. One of the instructors (?), Sabryna, let me stay anyway. Irene taught the beginner class and did a wonderful job. We spent the class working in several variations on a turn. She gave clear instructions and tips to get it right. She did a good job at not making you feel too embarrassed either. All the students were friendly and I think I spoke to a couple other guys that maybe work there that were also very kind! All around, it was a really nice first experience!

If you’re looking for a class with a lot of partner work that is unlikely but the instructor is happy to partner with you and you dance facing a mirror. I enjoyed the ballroom class for sure. They asked about styles of dance I was interested in and we did cha cha and rumba.
