However, I will say as a beginner with no experience in Contemporary Dance, the dances were very challenging to keep up with. Even though all levels were welcomed, I think there should be a note that this class caters more towards intermediate/advanced levels.

I’m just getting back into yoga again after recovering from surgery and this class was a perfect way to reconnect with my breath work and stretch my body without overextending myself. The instructor was clearly very knowledgeable but did go through things very quickly. so just be aware of this beforehand! That being said, I will likely be back since I feel like it will push me, but it is fast-paced and assumes some dance knowledge beforehand like positions etc.

I don’t have a dance background, but we did some work that seemed ballet-ish that felt more graceful and fun than a barre class. It also involved a lot of stretching, and it stretched some muscles that I wasn’t really aware that I had haha. I’ll definitely be back :D
