It was my first SoulCycle (& cycling in general) class & I didn’t feel pressured to perform in the same way the more experienced riders were. The seats are quite uncomfortable & was the most painful aspect of the experience (even w/ a thick bottom), so be prepared for that. Overall 8/10.

visa alla recensionerI love this class and instructor. I just wish that the 2nd to last song wasn’t always slow. This seems like the most important song to have a song with a great beat to push you through when there’s no choreo. You really feel everyone’s energy come down & it’s depressing.

Especially cues like how much weight should be in each leg for certain punches and how close or far back I need to be from the bag. Such a good full body class my shoulders are on 🔥! I love the freestyle sections when you can just get your anger out on the bag. Victor is a fun and motivating instructor and super cool to chat with after class.

This was my first time at Thrive and my second time taking a reformers type class (first time was Solidcore). She provided ample amounts of cues, corrected form when necessary and had fluid movement throughout each portion of the class. I am fitness instructor in Philadelphia, so I am not a novice to working out / fitness. I appreciated that the class was beginner friendly, but also offered opportunities for advanced movements to make it more challenging for returners. With a deep history of teaching, I was super impressed to hear that Carolyn was new to the studio. Great class, instructor, and studio!!!
