visa alla recensionerI absolutely loved Kiera’s class. She mentioned it was her first day, but I wouldn’t have noticed had she not said so. Her instruction on form was very helpful (lots of instructors at other studios don’t mention/critique form hardly at all), and the flow of the class/cadence in her voice was authentic and natural. My only critique was the music choice. A little too distracting. One instrumental, soothing song played during Shavasana that I loved and wished a playlist would have been based off of that song. Other than that, PHENOMENAL class. 👍🏼

visa alla recensionerCarolyn had really great cues and her pacing was in alignment with my full breath, which I appreciate because anymore these days I find that classes go far too fast. Also usually not into dharma talks during yoga practice, but her message was very well received. Her adjustments were gentle and non assuming. Enjoyed this class.

I did make mention that the lights could be dimmed way more and the shades should be closed as the traffic lights from Broadway were quite bright. visa alla recensionerI loved my first class! I admittedly had a lot of anxiety about attending at first, I am on the spectrum and have an auditory processing delay. This can make following instructions difficult, and interactions confusing. Although I did not share this, I didn’t feel like I needed to because they were ready to accommodate me regardless! I felt they had no problem slowing down for me and repeating instructions. Katrina immediately made me feel at ease and by the end of the class all the anxiety was gone. I felt accepted and they were able to meet me where I was at; they modified different movements for me and were able to guide me without judgment. I strongly recommend this studio if you’ve ever felt “different”, it can hard to find a place that will understand and accommodate you.

All of this was done with care and connection to the class and the whole flow and energy was so refreshing. The class was challenging but still accesible due to the options and variations offered.
