A note that the intermediate class really still has a bunch of beginners in it who are figuring out and practicing basic steps and turns with a partner. If you were hoping for longer stretches of dancing with music with someone to practice, I’d try a level up. Notes re Robbie: She’s personable, efficient at managing a large group, inclusive to involve multiple people when showing something, and particularly I like her walking around and helping make adjustments to individuals.

I was shown around the studio and all the instructors there were so kind and inviting. I have taken a handful of dance classes at other places before and I never experienced the beginning of class starting with a gentle warmup of every joint in the body. That really made an impact on me right away and set the tone for the rest of the class. I was able to progress from having two left feet to learning a whole salsa dance routine with a partner. In just one class I left with more confidence in joy in my dancing and in myself. i will definitely be coming back!!

I had the teacher Roxy and I went up to her to checkin and we started class about 5 mins after. There is a water dispenser in the dance studio. Only thing is that I had to wait outside until the classes before were done so come about 10 mins before you have to be there to not wait so long.
