Downstairs gym is decent enough and has a cage area for squats, deadlifts, pull ups, calisthenics type training. The option to use the upstairs area when no classes was a plus.

The only thing I would say is that it would be good to have more modifications for beginners for those who are just getting back in to it. Even if you’re a beginner though, the instructions are super clear and it’s easy to follow along.

They were knowledgeable and attentive, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. However, the toilet could use a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness. Still, overall a good experience. Highly recommend it!

I’m completely unfit and sometimes these gyms can look intimidating, but the N Sydney gym was very friendly and encouraging. Plenty of opportunity during the session to check form and provide advice and had a really tough workout in a welcoming environment. Definitely now my go to for HIT.

You’re encouraged to go heavy, and the work and rest breaks are very well timed so you feel like you can push yourself without being rushed to finish up. It’s like going to the gym and doing strength training on your own but (a) you have a program to follow and not think about, (b) your rest breaks are strictly timed, (c) you do the exercises you normally skip (lol), and (d) you have someone constantly checking your form and answering questions. Emma was great for a first timer like myself and was extremely mindful to check in on me and adjust the program to my needs. Will be back! :)
