Although, the class was a little bit slow paced compared to other L3 pilates classes elsewhere, with pauses between moves and focused more on improvement of moves and postures. If you're looking for a more grounded session to deepen your poses this is great, if you want to be challenged for strength and balance in a flow, this is not the class.

He explained everything clearly, including the problem areas he identified and how the muscles and connective tissues are linked, which gave me a much better understanding of what was going on. The deep tissue work was intense to say the least, but he was attentive to my pain levels and encouraging throughout, including breathing prompts. I’d mistakenly gone in thinking I might even fall asleep, but he reminded me with good humour that this wasn’t a spa experience and in all honesty would likely be in too much pain to fall asleep! He was also upfront as a first timer that I’d probably feel sore today and tomorrow (first 24 hrs) but should feel less pain and a lot looser by day two, which I really appreciated! Knowledgeable, thorough and professional, with the right balance of honesty and humour. Would definitely recommend.
