visa alla recensionerI did not have high expectations when I scheduled this class. When I took a barre three classes a few years ago, and I found them to be excessively repetitious on specific movements and not enough guidance on posture and form. However, this specific class with Ren is completely different from that experience. She is a skillful and positive minded teacher. She continuously gives comments supporting students on making modifications and taking breaks as needed, while continuing to keep an update beat and challenging routine. In particular, I loved, a variation on bridging that was very skillful in addressing lower back issues, which I have. I had an opportunity to give her that positive feedback directly. Also, the entire bar three signature routine was dynamic. Some Pilates moves and functional moves as well as strength training and some fun cardio. It is a class that I will do again with this teacher.

visa alla recensionerFirstly, there is only one entrance to the gym from the outside. You check in with the front desk. To get to the cheer class, you walk down toward the green turf and you’ll see doors on the far right to the room where class is held. I saw a bunch of people getting lost. Women’s locker room is downstairs. Anyway, this class is definitely a challenge. You work up a sweat with all the cardio. It’s quite fun and Keiko is a very upbeat teacher. It’s follow-along style, so if you wanted a guided lesson with techniques explained, this is not the class for you. I am a fast learner so I enjoyed it

She also performed some of the moves for visual cueing which was really helpful for myself. Music was perfect for the class. Really enjoyed the different age range of this class.

For someone that strength trains 2-3x a week this was still a great challenge! Cassie was super welcoming and explained everything very well throughout the class.
