Hot Sculpt Yoga with Weights
see all reviewsNew part of my weekly routine! Great way to start the day, and even better to start the week with a Monday morning class. The class is tough because it's quite hot, but you get to choose your weights and can go lighter or not use them at all, so that helps. There is a few minutes of cardio (a series of jumping jacks, 8 seconds on, 8 seconds active recovery), basically the length of one song, so be prepared for that! But, ends up being a very short portion of the class, and really helps with cardiovascular recovery, so I love it!

see all reviewsThis was my first time back to the studio since the pandemic, and I remember enjoying it just as much as I liked it today. The cycling is very safe in a good way. If you’ve ever had knee pain or back pain, this is the cycling for you. It’s hard but not overly painful on the joints. The core session was also great and tough

see all reviewsAndre (for Tues noon class) was attentive, motivating, and upbeat, per usual. The workout itself was great for working all the major muscle groups, in addition to challenging balance and stability. He's definitely become one of my favorite instructors!

see all reviewsTony is a fantastic instructor who has a surgeon-like precise attention to form. Even in a class with many students, he makes many individual adjustments. As other have noted, his style of teaching is a unique counterpoint to the typical hippie-dippy "find your center" and "loving kindness" approach to yoga. There is a place for both, but if you want to emphasize improving your physical capabilities, Tony's class has a lot to offer.

see all reviewsFirst time doing a Dailey Method class. Kiley was fantastic. Class was very challenging but doable, albeit a bit awkward since I’m a first timer. I would definitely do it again. And as a nice bonus, I stayed for an extra 30 minutes doing stretch and release work with a tennis ball.

see all reviewsI've really come to appreciate Keri's intermediate class - she will transform you into an aerial badass. Class mostly focuses on foundational work such as single knee hangs, meat hooks and planches. Tricks seem to come second which is fine in my opinion. Without correct form you have nothing right? Keri's teaching style is more direct but don't let that intimidate you - she wants to ensure you're doing it correctly and you'll thank her later for it.

see all reviewsThis was a great flexibility class with a dynamic warm up, and implementing active muscle engagements and using proper form. We focused on splits for this session (forward and middle), and I got my deepest middle after coming back to training. I will definitely take this class again!

see all reviewsMackenzie is a great stretching coach! Super impressed that it was a mostly active stretching class which is why I come to get coached. Anyone can do passive stretching at home alone so doing mostly active stretching in class is awesome. And so many new exercises I’ve never done before.

see all reviewsAnna has a great approachable teaching style that’s encouraging and informative. She taught us multiple moves in the span of an hour with lots of emphasis on pole work, less on floor/dance which I really enjoyed because it felt like a more intense workout.

see all reviewsLove this gym. The space is not only big, it's wide, so it's easy to space out, find a spot somewhere to workout where you're not seen or in someone else's space the entire time, and just feel secluded. In a good way. The lights are dim and calming, in my opinion. I prefer this gym over Union St. or Chestnut, which are smaller and everyone can watch you workout. I'm usually in and out of those locations, while this one makes you feel comfortable to stay a while.
